• Wash up after sex using warm water and a mild soap. This washes away bacteria and protects you from yeast infections and BV. Stay away from scented soaps and douches. Soaking in the bathtub is recommended as well.

• Change into a clean pair of cotton underwear after cleaning up your vagina. Or go commando!!

• Drink 2-3 glasses of water to help flush out bacteria from intercourse and for hydration. Being dehydrated can cause UTIs as well.
